Low Back Pain after Laminectomy/Disctomy/Forminatory Surgery

After surgery and PT I continued to have low back pain. I went to a neurosurgeon and he told me that my spine is structurally sound and there is no nerve damage. My problem is muscles. I have exceedingly long back muscles and during surgery they were moved around. I was also told this could be onset of arthritis because of this reason. Anyone have similar problems. Thanks. Its been a year since surgery.
