What is the usual return to work after Decompression surgery?

5 weeks post op from L4 to S1fusion, and decompression. I have nerve pain in legs, and if I spend too much time up moving around, I feel it! I am wearing my brace, and no lifting, bending, or twisting, and 2 hours a day on bone growth stimulator. My work disability has put me out of work through this week, and even though my job is sedentary, it is stressful, and I am tied to a desk (literally with a headset) except for breaks and 30 minute lunch. Of course disability should be calling me before time runs out. I know the time range varies for everyone, but I am concerned that sitting all day this soon can’t be good.
