Tylenol & Pain Meds...

Wondering who takes daily pain meds that contain Tylenol? I've been reading a lot lately about the damage Tylenol can cause to kidneys and liver over extended periods of time. Curious if anyone's DR discussed this with them? Anyone concerned about daily Tylenol intake?

  • I believe the maximum level of Acetaminophen a person can safely take is 4000 mg in 24 hours. That's not a lot in the big scheme of things. I would suggest you bring the subject up to your doctor during your next appointment if you're concerned about it. If you're taking too much, it can and will cause severe liver damage. Better safe than sorry! Ask your doctor.
