ow. back pain !! it hurts and I don't know if it's important..

hi my spine hurts (lower back to middle but radiating from the lower) every time I lay down. by hurts, I mean it feels like it is being sliced open with a scalpel, but only for about 5-10 minutes. but holy wow does it hurt !! I am 18, 5'4", 135 lbs, and maybe have scoliosis (my doctor said I had a curve in my back, but not severe and no ones ever mentioned it before last year) . This pain has been going on for a few months, but gotten worse over the last few days. please please help! :(

  • Hi jacisthere

    Welcome to Spine-health

Maybe it is time to go back to your doctor to get a referral for further investigations for this increased pain. You don't mention an MRI, which would show what is really going on.

I have added two links below to help new members with information and these also contain the forum rules. There is lots of material to research that will give you the power of knowledge.
