Post-Op Must Haves

  • Thank you for an invaluable list. You listed items I never would have thought of, but make sense.

  • What an amazing list - just what I have been looking for! I've just posted on this very topic!

  • Thanks. This is a great list. I didn't know what exactly I was supposed to take to surgery tomorrow. I'm glad I was able to find out the information here.

  • I read this as I'm at home recovering from 3rd spinal surgery in 5 weeks. This is an AWESOME list. I wish I would've read this BEFORE surgery..... I would've gotten my hair cut and colored as suggested. It wasn't even a thought in my mind before surgery. Neither was MANY items on this list. Doctors office should hand out this list!

  • Thank you SO MUCH for this list! I just posted a comment regarding my upcoming surgery, and asked what I might need to get .... then saw this post! This is a great list, and one I will absolutely be using prior to surgery on 02/05/18!

  • Very thorough list! I was sent home with several of the items you listed...I'm sure I was charged for them. Pre-surgery patients should find out if they can opt out and buy these items themselves ahead of time (if they choose to do so).

  • This is spot on!! Perfect! Wish I had this list in 2002. Haha

  • Forgot to mention maid... Lord knows I’d like one. Especially if they could work for free!
